THE DORIAN RESTORATION PROJECT

Welcome to our web site, this site is devoted to the restoration of the Dunkirk little ship 'DORIAN' one of the 'little ships' that rescued troops from the beaches at dunkirk in 1940. The good ship Dorian minus engine and wheelhouse has been saved from a watery grave by our group who are determined the former Royal navy pinnace which fell on hard times will ride the waves again. Her fate was looking pretty grim till our group acquired her with a view to restoring her to her former glory. On this site you will find ongoing details of how the restoration is proceeding along with many pictures and also some great links to other websites of interest.
